Top 5 Food Delivery Apps Performance in Romania: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Romania's food delivery app market saw varying trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway experienced a steady download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at around 15.6K weekly downloads in mid-December. Active users showed fluctuations, beginning at 1.1M in early October, dipping slightly, and then rising again to finish the quarter at approximately 1.1M.

Tazz - Food and other cravings had an interesting quarter with weekly downloads peaking at 17.6K by the end of December. Active users also showed significant movement, starting at 696K and reaching a peak of 899K in early November, before ending the quarter at 754K.

Bolt Food saw its downloads ranging around 12K to 14K weekly, with a notable peak in early October. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 506K, dipping in October, and then recovering to 551K in early December.

Freshful by eMAG showed consistent growth in downloads, starting at 5K and peaking at 11.9K in early November. Active users also increased from 114K at the start of the quarter to 149K mid-November, before settling at 124K by the end of December.

Finally, Bringo Romania - Comanda orice had relatively stable downloads, fluctuating between 2.5K and 3.6K. Active users demonstrated a gradual increase from 68K to 78K by the end of December.
